IIIT Guwahati did not offer an online B.Tech. In Electronics and Communication Engineering programme. According to my knowledge there is no separate portal for the SRCC College. You have to login to Delhi University colleges that is www.du.ac.in and from where you have to select your college in which you want to get admission and after that there is an application form coming that's it this is the process of getting admission.

Evening classes are better but if you can not attend them or have some set ways or targets like GATE or going for some coaching which prepares you for placements or work for earning then online degree is a good option.

Hello Piyush, it's very heartening to know that you still have the spark to study even after 25 years of work experience. But I am afraid that these days no professional course including engineering can be offered online buy any university in India and as a result you cannot think of doing graduation in chemical engineering by distance education mode. However you can do AMIE which is equivalent to graduation in engineering for all practical purposes. Best wishes to you.
