It doesn't matter if you do it even from a top institute because you are not working. You should do it only if you are employed and have around 2 years of work experience. Fully online MBA is not allowed as UGC has banned it. You may go for the following institutes:
Pondicherry University,
Anna University,
Bharati Vidyapeeth,
Kurukshetra University,
University of Madras.
Do not opt for any private university and universities from Rajasthan, north India, Bengal and north east states including Sikkim. Always prefer a part time program.

Yes, it would be nice. You can go for MBA in finance and operations which would be helpful for your career.

It is always good to move ahead by upgrading yourself on the career path that you are interested in, but as you have mentioned that you have 10 years of work experience in banking operations & Planning. I would highly recommend you to go for 2 years full-time MBA in banking and finance at Symbiosis College of Banking and Finance. The faculty members and placement facilities provided by them are very good. In case if you cannot pursue full-time MBA, then they also provide management development programs for the working professionals as well.
