The college you are willing to study is a very good college and the placements are also good. As per the reputation of the college, there is a very less chance to take direct admission without giving any entrance exam.

EDIT: I forgot to mention YouTube. You can learn just about anything you might want to do in C/C+ on there. There are countless tutorials and even channels that focus solely on that language. Check it out when you are working on a project. Chances are good that someone, somewhere h

If the college finds you eligible for admission, they will intimate you through a mail or a call about the seat allotment process, that is, counselling. If you haven't received one from the college, you can approach the college directly and ask for your current status.
