For seeking admission in MBA, one needs to have minimum 50% marks in graduation and should have a good score in CAT. The higher the score, the better are the chances of getting admission into a top MBA school.
You first need to decide what are your interest areas and career aspirations & then based on it, decide the way forward.
An MBA will help you seek a job in non technical fields.
There is an ample score for both M.Sc in chemistry as well as MBA.

If that is the case and your interest is in operations management, I would definitely recommend an MBA course for you to gain a thrust for your career. 3 years is a good number to have industry experience and this is the right time for you to foray into management courses.
