Lateral entries are only permitted in colleges which have a tie-up with your own institute, so it is best if you contact the admissions department of your institute to find out where you can get lateral entries. Not all colleges permit lateral entries into a college of your own choice. Please refer to the link provided below for a list of colleges which award degrees in B.Sc (Optometry):

Optometry is a branch of medicine which deals with visual systems. Further, it deals with vision issues such as examining, diagnosing, managing and treating diseases of the eye. Optometrists can help prevent blindness as they deal with refraction, eyewear, fitting of contact lenses, dealing with low vision and evaluating and referring to ophthalmology. Optometrists working in government hospitals can start off with a decent pay package and those who opt for private clinics can negotiate for higher slabs. Apart from assisting ophthalmic doctors in government hospitals and private clinics an optometrist can find job opportunities in various areas.
After few years of experience, they can start their own practice. After completion of Masters degree in Optometry, one can proceed for PhD and apply for a teaching job in any medical college.
