This translates to quality instruction and exposure to diverse surgical procedures.Clinical Exposure: MAMC is attached to a large hospital, likely providing a high volume of patients and opportunities for hands-on experience .Facilities: The department has a dedicated building with advanced equipment, including a bone bank, facilitating advanced surgical techniques .Competitiveness: MAMC offers only a limited number of MS Orthopaedics seats (around 7) each year, making admission competitive. This suggests a programme that attracts strong candidates.I believe that for any surgical branch, the hands-on experience that you gain is more important than anything else. Good teachers and good books can only train you so much- but the ultimate teacher remains your patient. It takes a dedicated student to learn, not a dedicated professor. If you've passed your profs in a few nights of cramming after missing all your lectures- you probably will agree with me. So even though both colleges may have amazing professors, the patient input gives SJH a slight upper hand.All the best choosing!
