We have credits each subject. Like a subject has 4 credits. We have grades like S-10, A-9, B-8,. , F-fail (0). We will multiply our grade with the subject cerdits so that we will get subject points. We will do something for every subject and we will add all points. So, we will get our scoring points. Now we will multiply "s" grade with all subjects credits and we will add all points. So we will get overall points. Now we will divide our scoring points with overall points then we will get our CGPA.

They will give zero marks for internal exam. Then you should score more in external exam and in assignment so that you can pass the subject if you overall marks is more than the pass marks.

If you get zero marks in internal exam also nothing will happen. We have 100 marks for each subject. This Year (60+40) marks.
40 for internals includes internal exam (30), assignment marks (10) and external exam (60). They will calculate the overall marks at end of the semester. They will give pass or fail based overall marks.
