The entrance examination will be held in CBT mode for the Master’s programme and the entrance examination for a doctoral programme (Ph. D) will be held in offline mode in the third week of July 2025, tentatively. The exam is conducted for Veterinary Science candidates in Bhubaneswar only. A candidate who is appearing for the exam this year should know that the difficulty level in general is moderate to tough. Also, candidates need to score well in classes 10 and 12 so, that when they appear for the OUAT Exam 25 per cent of their class 10 and 12 scores will be added too.

Candidates who want to appear for OUAT Exams must qualify their classes 10 and 12 with Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Physics subjects. Also, the aggregate passing marks in classes 10 and 12 should be 50 per cent for general category canddiates and 40 per cent for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
