Candidates must have passed the 10+2 minimum level with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It is required to be admitted through JEE Main score. Yes, West Bengal does have Pailan College of Management and Technology (PCMT), well-known for management, engineering, and technology education. Founded in 1999, PCMT has gained an excellent reputation for quality education and a very practical learning environment. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology MAKAUT is where the college is affiliated; it also gained popularity for the industry-oriented curriculum. PCMT has a good placement record too. Students get selected by prominent companies. Moreover, its proximity to Kolkata justifies its prominence among the students of this region.

It can therefore be said that placements at Pailan College of Management and Technology (PCMT) have been below average, but there are indeed many companies which visit the college for placements. Significantly, TCS and ITC are some of the major companies recruiting freshers which pay their applicants about INR 3-4 Lacs per annum.
