Yes, you can. The only basic criteria is one should have studied mathematics in 12th standard, in order to get admission in Eco Hons, otherwise he/she would have to face a disadvantage of 2-4%. DU is central university, they have better exposure, better students because of cutoffs and awesome campus life especially in North Campus. PUs citation was ranked as the best in Asia. DU might boast of its high cutoffs but students at PU are better (atleast they aren't nerds). DU might boast of notable alumnus, but Dr. Manmohan Singh (one of the most intelligent Indians alive) is a PU alumni.
