Yes, it is compulsory to write an entrance exam to get into Panjab University for MBA. The university accepts scores from the Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to its MBA programs. Additionally, the university conducts its own entrance test, known as the Punjab University Management Entrance Test (PUMET), for admission to its MBA programs.

The Central University of Punjab accepts CUET PG scores, followed by a counselling process for admisison to MA, MSc, MCom, MTech and LLM, among other PG courses. Central University of Punjab CUET PG cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, 2, 3 and 4 for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories. As per the CUPB cutoff 2024 for CUET PG, the cutoff scores ranged between 15 and 241, among which M.A. in Psychology was the most competitive PG course. Panjab Univeresity MBA admissions are entirely entrance-based. For admission to MBA course at UBS and UIAMS, candidates must have a valid score of either CAT or PU MET exams, respectively. The eligibility criteria for MBA course is to pass graduation with minimum 50% aggregate in the relevant stream, The candidates holding BBA (Hons) from any HEC recognised institutions with at least 2.5 CGPA. Clearance of Entry Test is mandatory with 50% marks. No, there is no entrance exam required to take admission for B.A (Hons) in English at Punjab University. To be eligible for B.A (Hons) in English at Punjab University one must pass class 12th from a recognised board from any stream, but one must have studied English. Admission to the university is based on merit in class 12th. So, score higher to get good college.I hope it will help.
