Applicants who want to qualify the exam must have an understanding about the marking scheme of UP CPET. There is no negative marking scheme in the UP CPET exam. Hence students are advised to attempt as many questions as they can to qualify the exam.

The UP CPET entrance exam is conducted in pen & paper (offline) mode. Applicants who want to participate in the exam are advised to note that the entrance exam will be conducted in Hindi as well as English language. The nature of questions will be in MCQ format.

According to the exam pattern of UP CPET, there will be a total of 200 questions which will be asked in the exam and applicants will be given a total of 200 minutes only to solve the question paper.

According to last year official notification there were a total of 19 UP CPET exam centre cities which students can fill in their application form.

The Uttar Pradesh Combined Paramedical Entrance Test (UP CPET) is conducted once a year only. Applicants who want to appear and get qualify in the exam are advised to first fulfil the eligibility followed by filling up the application form. This year in 2025 exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in June as per previous year trends.

Candidates who want to participate in UP CPET exam must know that there is different age wise as well educational eligibility criteria. The minimum age limit for the admission is 17 years on or before December 31, 2025.While For B.Sc. Paramedical courses in SGPGIMS, Lucknow the maximum age limit is 30 years as on December 31, 2025. For other Institutes no Maximum age limit. While UP CPET educational eligibilty criteria differs for various courses.
