You should not prefer distance education for technical education rather go for regular mode because you'll learn many things in the class room. You'll get industrial exposure and practical knowledge which will be helpful in getting a good job. So, better go for regular education. As per AICTE rules, professional courses such as B.Tech, M.Tech, and LLB are not subject to part-time admission, you have to do it in regular mode, but you can take admission through lateral entry if you have done your Diploma.

Normally the admission of all the courses starts by the end of May or in the first week of June. So according to that you can apply for.

Interested candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below to pursue a course in part-time B.Tech in chemical engineering from Anna University. Minimum Eligibility to Apply for part-time B.Tech in chemical engineering from Anna University is that candidate should have a minimum pass mark of 50% in class 12 with Mandatory Subject : English. Candidates must have obtained required percentage in mandatory subjects. Admission is based on the marks obtained in 10+2. Interested candidates can apply online or offline with required information.
