Hello Sujit,
It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your M.Tech in power plant engineering albeit as a part time course. However for majority of the colleges offering such part time courses a person needs to attend classes in the evening or night and longer duration classes over the weekend. This intern means that the college has to be in a place where you are working. I would therefore advise you to find out which colleges offer this particular branch in the place where you are working and then please approach them to find out if they are conducting part time courses. Best wishes to you.

I will suggest you to go for a proper full-time course in M.Tech, if you are genuinely interested in it, as only getting a degree will not help you, as you know that it is really difficult to get a good job nowadays. And, for part-time you will have to contact the colleges, as I think most of the colleges nowadays are not giving courses for part-time.

Hi Jay,
Sankriti University does not offer part-time or distance M.Tech. You can rather consider IGNOU, Annamalai University or Amity University.

Yes, it is possible to do M.Tech as part time, but you will not be availing the Scholarship even if you are a GATE qualified candidate. But, that can be possible only in universities and their affiliated colleges, but not in Reckoned institutes like IIT's and NIT's.
