You should be a graduate with minimum 2 to 3 years of work experience.
Below mentioned are the decent institutes:
1. JBIMS – Mumbai.
2. NL Dalmia - Mira Road.
3. NMIMS.
4. KJ Somaiya.
5. ADMI.
6. SIES.
7. Parle Tilak Vidya Mandir.
8. Welingkar.
9. Thakur College – Kandivli.
10. Chetna.
These are the institutes, in which you can get admission after a written test and a personal interview. Except for NMIMS, everywhere the course is of 3 years duration. In NMIMS, it is 15 months for executive MBA and 2 years for part time MBA.

Fulltime MBA has better placements and better value than distance and part time mode. Companies generally prefer fulltime MBA candidates over other modes. Salary offered is way higher to full time candidate.

Basically, there are various MBA colleges which provide the distance course facilities if you are interested in part time job along with MBA. The distance course facility helps you not to be a regular student. I can come to the college only at the time of exams. For e.g., if you are pursuing MBA in international business then Symbiosis is the best option. It provides the facilities of distance course.

Yes, it is a good option. You can also look for 1-year Executive MBA if you have a work experience of more than 4 years. Distance MBA is a good option and there are many colleges which provide distance MBA.

Production management is a specialized field of engineering. I will advise you not to pursue this specialization as it is not aligned with your commerce background.
