IN TU - Tantia University, there the part time Ph.D is not available. It is there at LPU. Duration of programme is minimum 3 years. (From the date of initial registration). Most of the private universities have come up with the way-out for working people to offers course work classes on Saturdays and Sundays or even a week per month or 15 days at a stretch (LPU does this).
I am sure that 2004, Masters does not have any negative effect on your candidature. Besides, you need to qualify the entrance as well as the selection interview, as prescribed by the university.

Hello Rajendra,
These days all the universities conduct an entrance exam for allowing students to pursue research projects culminating into PhD. Christ deemed to be University also conducts this exam twice in a year to select candidates who can seek admission into their doctoral programs.
