Student employment at MiraCosta College is generally considered manageable. Students are allowed to work for 9.5 hours per week during academic semesters or up to 40 hours during school. Students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for a work-study award. To get a part-time job while studying at East West Medical College and Hospital is not that easy. They have a demanding schedule, licensing requirements that prohibit outside work and need to focus solely on their medical studies and training. The jobs are also not readily available.  People can work for a maximum of 8 hours per day and 48 hours per week. Students can work for fewer hours as they have to complete their studies as well.
