PERA CET is an online-protocored examination that will take place on August 6 and 7, 2024 (Phase V). 200 mark questions will be asked in MCQ format, and the paper will last two hours. Candidates will be asked questions from physics, chemistry, and mathematics. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

No, there is no negative marking in PERA CET. The exam is of two hours duration, and the total marks of exam is 200. In Physics, 25 MCQs will be asked each of 2 marks. In Chemistry, there will be 25 MCQs of 2 marks each. But in Mathematics, 50 MCQs will be asked for 2 marks each. The question paper for the UG course is designed based on the Class 12 syllabus, and for the PG course, the PERA CET paper is designed based on the respective degree-level syllabus.
