Normally, to get into the B.E./B.Tech course at PERI Institute of Technology, you'd need to go through TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) for counseling. It's the main process for getting admitted to most engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, including PERIIT. However, in some cases, if you're from outside Tamil Nadu or if there are leftover seats, you might be able to apply through the management quota or direct admission. This could bypass TNEA, but you'll need to check with the college directly for those specific options.

The fees for courses at PERI Institute of Technology (PERIT) are relatively affordable, especially for an engineering college in Chennai. For B.E./B.Tech, the tuition fees are usually around 55,000 to 65,000 per year, depending on the course and specialization. The hostel fees range between 40,000 to 60,000 annually, with the exact cost depending on the type of accommodation and facilities. There might be additional costs for activities, exams, or other services too. It's not too expensive compared to some private colleges, but it's still something to consider based on your budget

UG (B.E/B.Tech): You need to have completed your 10+2 (higher secondary) education with a good score. For B.Tech admissions, you must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in your 12th grade. Admission is generally based on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling, and you'll need to meet the cut-off for your preferred course.PG (M.E/M.Tech): To apply for postgraduate courses like M.E, you should have a relevant undergraduate degree (B.E/B.Tech) in a related field. Admission for M.E programs typically involves the TANCET exam scores.

PERI Institute of Technology is a private college, not a government one. It's run by a private trust and offers various engineering courses. So, if you're looking for a government-backed college, this isn't one of them.

The faculty at PERI Institute of Technology seems to be decent overall, but the opinions are mixed. Some students find the teaching quality quite good, mentioning that the overall experience is positive and the teaching methods are effective. On the other hand, some reviews suggest that the faculty could be more involved in student development, especially when it comes to practical skills and project work. It also seems that the teaching staff in some departments might not be as experienced as in others. So, it's not perfect but if you're looking for a solid academic environment with some good professors, it could still work for you.
