For an Indian student studying periodontology, the first choice of countries for such study would be USA, Canada, and Australia because these countries have the best education system and research facilities. For entry into a graduate program, required exams often include GRE/TOEFL/IELTS. Preparing includes a focus on these standardized tests and pertinent clinical experience and knowledge acquired in periodontology through courses and internship.

This question can be answered by seeing the fees structure of this course. The total tution fees for MDS in Periodontology is INR 14.97 Lakh. So if we see the per year fees of this course it will be around INR 5 lakhs, as it is a 3 year course. It can be said that yes, it is a expensive course. But the return on the fees invested should also be kept in mind. The highest package offered here is INR 24 LPA and average is around INR 5.5 LPA. But not all the students get the highest package. So overall it can be said that the course is expensive.

The desired cutoff to get admission for MDS in Periodontology can be predicted by seeing the previous year cutoffs. It can be said that the cutoffs will be high only, due to the limited seats availability. There are only 2 seats available in this specialization. So it can be predicted that cutoff will be above 100 only. So if you want to take admission in this course, you need to prepare well for the entrance exam, in order to qualify in the cutoff.
