Periyar University has 3 hostel buildings in order to accommodate the students and research scholars of the university, one each for Women PG Students, Women Research Scholars, and Men Students and Scholars. All the hostels at Periyar University are equipped with basic facilities with separate mess for each building. It also has guest rooms to provide accommodation for the students coming to the university for the academic purposes.
