Yes, PES university is a good option for CSE. It has a track record for 100% placement. Also, the average package is good.

According to me, you should prefer PES University and RV College. Both are equally good. I don't have much knowledge about Reva University.

For PES University, there are 2 ways to take admission. One is through CET which is only for the Karnataka students. The fee in this case is Rs. 90000 per year. The second way of admission is through PESSAT which is for students all over India. In this case there are two categories A and B. For category A (which has higher cut-off) has a annual fee of Rs. 90000 and category B (which has a lower cut-off) has a annual fee of Rs. 300000 (for the 2017 batch).

Well, this is a difficult question to answer. Previously there were 2 branches CSE and IS but after PESIT became PES University, IS branch was removed and the seats in CSE branch are doubled. I don't think the placements will be affected as now the same students will be chosen by the company but from the CSE branch. Also, this is the last year for the IS branch (presently fourth years).

As far as I know, PES University is better in terms of placement in all of Bengaluru.

According to placements, PES is better among all (the reason why I chose PES). You can also consider VIT because it has a good infrastructure. I am not too sure about KIIT. The decision is yours.

Please be clear with your question. As far as I can understand you want to study in category A (which has a lower tuition fee than the other categories). That is possible if you have a good rank in PESSAT. After that, there is a 20% fee waiver to the top 15% students of their respective branches and you can get this in every semester. Some BPL scholarships are also there which can help you.

Depends on what kind of life you want to live. If you are in the boy's hostel class is like 300 m from your room (if you can manage to get the hostel). There are a number of canteens in the campus for better food. Also, the campus is small so you don't have to walk much. Only attendance is a bit cumbersome (75%). There is a big cricket ground where you can play. Overall the life is fun.
