It depends on the university which will awards you the MBA degree.
For MBA-PES university you require PESSAT.
PESSAT will not apply to VTU MBA at PESIT South Campus.
Eligibility :-

If you are looking for the student exchange programs & international knowledge exchange then go for PES-IUP program which is the best among all 3 MBAs offered at PES (MBA-IUP, MBA-PESU and MBA-VTU).
AIMS is the best choice for students who are looking for the internships and hands-on experience with less expenditure. You can opt for PGDM course in AIMS.

Yes, the college does take students from CET. There is a 50% quota for the CET students. As far as I know CET rank 653 got admission in PESIT CS branch. For other branches, the cut-off is lower. Last year 216 seats (approx.) seats were allotted to the CS branch through CET and students also got admission from the second round of CET. Also, for the CET students they can give PESSAT (conducted for the students all over India) and get admission in the college through it.

Since, I am in the first year I don't know much about the placement. But I know for CS branch average package is Rs 7.9 lakhs. Last Microsoft took a PESITIAN for Rs 24 lakhs. As our college is in Bangalore huge number of IT companies visit our college. Especially for CS, PES has a track record of 100% placement.

Yes, you can join the college. It depends on what course you want to pursue in future. Since, you are done with your UG, you can apply for PG courses like MBA, etc. in my college.

Hello Puneeth,
Both are better for studies. PES is a separate university and VTU has other colleges attached to it ,but this will not decide the placements. Placements depend on the college you choose and its position. University value will be a add-on to it.both universities are good recognised by all education boards so the course completion certificate has a good value.
