The definition of better varies from person to person and is influenced by personal inclinations and ones strength for e.g. some people might to go with regular stream like CS, mechanical, Electronics and some might go with not so common branches like Robotics, petroleum, mining.

If you look at the statistics, you will find that UPES has been a better college in terms of placement than PDPU. Placements of Petroleum (Upstream and Downstream) is among the top branches of UPES. The average package from UPSTREAM is approximately Rs 6.7 Lacs to Rs 8.96 Lacs per annum and from downstream is approximately Rs 3.56 Lacs to Rs 6.56 or Rs 6.79 lacs per annum. The highest package from gas is around Rs 18 Lacs. The highest package from upstream is around Rs 33 Lacs (had been offered once by Schlumberger). Hi Himanshu,
The fee structure varies from institute to institute. Generally, for government colleges, it will be lower and for private colleges, it will be more.
So, if you mention the institute then I may tell the fee structure for the same.
