PGDM Eligibility

Candidates who have passed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50% for all subjects taken together (45% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates can apply for the PGDM course. Aspirants who are appearing for their final year examination and are awaiting their results may also apply. However, they should have maintained an average of 50% marks in the degree course until then. They should be completing all their degree examinations before June 25, 2023. Such candidates are required to produce proof of passing the degree examination with the minimum required 50% aggregate, the latest by September 30, 2023. Applicants who have un-cleared backlog papers in graduation, are not eligible to apply.

The PGDM course at XISS Ranchi offers four specializations: Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Financial Management, and Marketing Management. Candidates need to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course. The eligibility criteria are that the candidate must have a three or four-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Candidates appearing for the final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination are also eligible to appear for the admission process, provided they do not have more than two backlogs.

The eligibility criteria is the minimum qualification required for a candidate to become eligible for admission to MBA courses of XLRI. As a proof of eligibility, candidates must hold the relevant documents or mark sheets.
