No, there is always a good reason behind everything. PGDM is also a good option. Just try to choose the best specialisation which will help you get a good job profile and provides you with the opportunity to work abroad. Good luck.

Hello Srividhya,
Having work experience and doing PGDM is good. I intend to communicate that there is no guaranteed package for any student in PSGIM. It is also applicable for MBA. It all depends on how we perform during the 2 years of our course duration. If you perform excellent and maintain good skills that the industry expects you are guaranteed to get a better package. Also, I would like to make you understand that corporates do not see any difference between PGDM and MBA. They see both courses equal and recruit only based on skills that we possess. Also, there are no scholarships available for PGDM.
All the Best!

The average package for the freshers would depend upon the skills and abilities you pursue. Moreover, it also depends upon the college where you study in. The campus recruitments that they bring should be appropriate and for that you need to check out the previous year's placements.

PGDM is a Diploma course, through which you are given a certificate by the institute or recognised university. So PGDM is a 2 years course, and basically you can surely go for Ph.D. But be careful that you are allowed to go for Ph.D. when you do your PGDM from an AICTE recognised college. The best option for is to get a PGDM course from Iims (Indian Institute of Management). You are only eligible to do Ph.D. when you come with your PGDM Course from an AICTE approved college. The colleges/Institutions providing this PGDM Course must be a member of Association of Indian universities. In your case you have already complete

Hi Rutuja,
I would suggest, Instead of focusing on what course have greater scope, why don't you concentrate on one of your convenience and interest from those and work hard such that you excel in it and with your skills and diligence and you can improve yourself. Ultimately your hard work will pay off and you would be able to earn good. Moreover both the course would lead to you to similar packages. The average packages of both the course is somewhere similar yet depending upon college to college. So choose what you really want to do and excel in it and also choose the college wisely. All the best.
