The admission process for the PGDM course at GNIOT Institute of Management Studies is mentioned below:Candidates should have passed Bachelor degree examination from any recognised Indian university with a minimum of 50% marks (for the General category) and a minimum of 45% marks (only for Reserved Category SC/ST) having Indian nationality or as per the latest AICTE Guidelines.Reserved Category CandidateReserved Category candidates are required to submit relevant caste certificates and non- creamy layer certificates at the time of confirming the PGDM admission. If a candidate fails to produce such documents at the time of submitting the application form, he/she will not be considered for PGDM admission under the reserved category. He/she will be regarded as for PGDM admission under open/general category (with minimum 50% marks requirement in graduation).Students appearing /results awaitedStudents appearing or waiting for final year examinations can apply for the program. However, such candidates need to submit their final graduation mark sheet, college/university certificate on or before 30th October 2022 else their candidature will be disqualified. It will not be admitted to the PGDM course.Competitive examA candidate can apply to the PGDM course if he/she has cleared or appeared for the following competitive exam as per AICTE requirement – CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT. Application FormTo apply for the PGDM Programme at GIMS, applicants must fill the form either offline or on the online admissions portal. The Application processing fee is INR  1200/-. Screening of Application FormThe application forms will be scrutinized by the GIMS panel and the candidates will be shortlisted on the following parameters:• CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT or GMAT Admit Card or Score Card• Consistency of academic record• Versatility and achievements• Relevance of work experience for the specialisation (If any)3. GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT)Applicants shortlisted in stage II, will be called for GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT). As per the admission process for a two-year PGDM course at GNIOT, candidates have to qualify for the various stages of the selection process in order to get admission. The selection process for PGDM consists of four main steps. Find all of them below:Fill the application form: To apply for PGDM, first fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and pass graduation with 50% aggregate. Then fill application form with all the relevant details along with paying an application fee of INR 1,200. Qualify the entrance exam: Qualify for any one of the entrance exam from either CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT and GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT). Appear in GD/PI round: Once candidates qualify the respective entrance exam, they have to appear in the GD & PI rounds conducted at the institute. Merit-list releasing: The institute will prepare a merit list of the shortlisted candidates based on their eligibility criteria, scores of the entrance exam and performance in GD& PI rounds.
