For MBA/PGDM admissions in AIMS – Atharva Institute of Management Studies, candidates have to go through certain procedure. To begin with, a candidate has to undertake tests such as CAT, MAT, or XAT and secure not less than 50% percentile. Then they have to apply online in the institute's official website, and have to submit a fee of INR 1000/- for the application fee only. Yes, the students can take admission for AIMS – Atharva Institute of Management Studies MBA/PGDM course without MAT. The institute offers admission through CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA and GMAT scores but has its own cutoff marks. Candidates who had not written MAT can apply with the scores of any of these examinations. The institute also has its own entrance tests called as AIMS Test for those students who have not written any of the aforementioned tests. Usually, the entrance exam score is nearly 50%, while the other 50% is determined using the performance in the academic test, a group discussion, and an interview.

The basis of selection at AIMS – Atharva Institute of Management Studies for MBA/PGDM course:The candidates should have appeared in any of the management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA and secured minimum 50%ile in each of these tests. It is also necessary that the candidate has passed the bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% marks. Thus, the selection process includes the group discussion (GD), which has 20% weightage to personal interview (PI) containing 30% weightage. The remaining 50% weightage is awarded of academic achievement of the candidate and his scores in the entrance test.

The MBA/PGDM fees at AIMS – Atharva Institute of Management Studies is approximately for INR 7,50,000 for two year programme. Tariffs can be divided into an annual fee of 3,75,000 INR. Other charges which students have to bear are examination fees, library fees, alumni fees which come to INR 10000 to INR 20000 per annum. The value of full MBA/PGDM course fee is approximately INR720,000 INR 750,000 to INR 790 000. For this the institute is also providing scholarships for the deserving students so that this pressure could also be decreased.

The admission criterion of AIMS – Atharva Institute of Management Studies for MBA / PGDM programme is that candidates should have passed bachelor's degree in any field from any recognised university securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidate). Besides, candidates must have appeared for the entrance examination like CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA. The institute also takes into consideration the candidate's work experience if any. The system is composed of a group discussion and an interview. The institute present two years full time MBA/PGDM programme having total strength of 180 students for the entire batch.
