To apply for the Ph.D. in Biotechnology program at Faculty of Allied Sciences, you must fulfill the official requirements for admission, and other standard prerequisites, which are a Master's Degree in a relevant field with not less than 55% marks. There are admission application forms normally filled and submitted online, the candidate then has to take an entrance examination as well as interview . However, some universities will expect candidates to furnish valid scores in certain tests like the CSIR-JRF or NET  The program fee is different but it would costs approximately INR 75000 to INR 1.5 lakhs per annum.

Some universities offer pursuing of Ph.D. part time. Look up universities that does not require full time completion of Ph.D.

Hi. 55% marks in Master's degree for the admission in Applied & Humanities (Biotechnology and Immunology, Microbiology, Physics Chemistry Mathematics, English
However, 60% marks in Master's degree remaining Courses.

Admission to the Ph.D. Biotechnology will be done according to the marks scored in the entrance examination. Some of the most popular Ph.D. Biotechnology Entrance Exams are UGC NET CSIR UGC NET etc. GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will also be considered for admission to the course.
