For PhD programme, candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in entrance test and performance in interview round conducted by the University. The entrance test is a theory paper based on postgraduate level syllabus with a weightage of 80 per cent. Candidates seeking admission to the NMIMS School of Business Management PhD course must have passed a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with a minimum aggregate of 55% or its equivalent. Candidates seeking admission to PhD course at Welingkar Mumbai must have a master's degree with at least 55% aggregate (or equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) or MPhil with at least 55% aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale is required to apply for the PhD course.
