Ph.D Eligibility

IIM Ranchi offers Doctoral Programmes in Management in full-time and Executive mode. The eligibility for both programmes is mentioned below:PhD (Full time) ProgrammePhD (Executive) ProgrammeMaster's degree or Post Graduate Diploma or its equivalent in any discipline with first classOrBTech/ 4 Years Degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent.OrAny professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CS with a BCom/ Degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point averageCandidate for the PhD ( Executive) of the Institute should have minimum 5 years of work experience by 31st March of the target year of education.Master's degree or Post Graduate Diploma or its equivalent in any discipline with first class.OrBTech/ 4 Years Degree with 6.5 CGPA or equivalent. OrAny professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CS with a BCom/ Degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average. 

To be eligible for the Ph.D. course in Genetics at the University of Delhi, you must meet the following criteria:
1. You must have completed a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Genetics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or any other related field from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade).
2. You must have qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the CSIR or UGC, or have cleared the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE or a similar national level examination, or have a degree from a foreign university that is recognised by the University of Delhi.
3. You must also clear an entrance examination conducted by the University of Delhi or an interview before admission. Additionally, you may be required to have prior research experience or publications in the field of genetics.
