- Applicants need to appear for a university-level entrance exam followed by a Personal Interview
- Candidates who have qualified NET, GATE SLET or equivalent exams organised by the national or state-level organizations/ statutory bodies need to appear for the test. However, they need to appear for a Personal Interview.

1. You must have completed a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Genetics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or any other related field from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade).
