Yes, you can apply for a Ph.D. at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) without having cleared the NET or JRF exams. The university allows candidates who hold a master's degree with at least 55% marks (or a relaxation of 5% for specific categories) to apply for the Ph.D. program. Additionally, candidates who possess an M.Phil. degree with the required marks are eligible for direct admission in the same subject without needing to clear any entrance exam

The JEST 2024 final answer key is released in online mode on March 18, 2024. The answer key is released in a PDF file which mentions the questions as well the answers. There are 2 answers which are changed from the JEST provisional answer key. Applicants can calculate their marks from the final answer key.

The negative marks scheme was applicable in JEST 2024 exam. The exam was conducted for a total of three sections, Part A, B and C. The questions in part A and B were Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
