Suresh Gyan Vihar University would be a good choice to do a Ph.D., specially for working professionals. They offer part-time courses and, more importantly, some courses are online, so it becomes easy to manage work along with studies. Plus, it is a UGC-approved university, which means the degree value is there. They have a lot of fields one can get into, which is great; however, do make sure to check the faculty and resources in your area of interest before you make up your mind. Perhaps chat with a few current or former students to get an even better picture. All in all, it's worth considering if flexibility is a priority for you!

No, the Pharm D course is not equivalent to a PhD. PharmD is a professional doctoral degree focused on Pharmacy practice, patient care, and medication management, preparing graduates to work as clinical pharmacists. It involves clinical training and emphasizes practical skills for patient-centered healthcare. In contrast, a PhD is an academic research degree that focuses on conducting original research in a specific field, including pharmaceutical sciences.

There is no specific entrance exam is required to pursue a PhD in Germany. However, exceptionally well-qualified candidates with only a Bachelor's degree may need to pass an entrance examination to gain admission into fast-track programs. Proficiency in English (or German if required) must also be demonstrated through standardized tests like IELTS or TOEFL.

While specific CGPA requirements can vary by university and program, generally a good or very good degree (equivalent to at least 2.5 on the German grading scale) is expected.

To apply for a PhD in Germany, you first need to find a suitable supervisor who is willing to guide your research. You can search for professors through university websites or academic networks. Once you have identified a potential supervisor, you will need to prepare your application, which typically includes your CV, a research proposal, and proof of your academic qualifications. After submitting your application directly to the professor or the university, you may need to go through an interview process before being accepted.

Both a PhD and an MBBS holder can be referred to as 'Doctor', but they have different roles and expertise. An MBBS degree qualifies someone to practice medicine and treat patients as a medical doctor. They diagnose, prescribe treatments, and perform surgeries. On the other hand, a PhD is awarded to individuals who have completed extensive research in a specific field of study, often in Science, Engineering, or Humanities.
