Ph.D. is a purely research based programme, as per the UGC guidelines, it cannot be done in distance leaning mode. A course work with specific regular duration is must have. However, there is a provision of pursuing it in part time mode in LPU. Moreover, LPU offers flexible coursework options-
1) Classes on weekends (Saturday & Sunday only)
2) 4 days course work every month (Preferably every second week: Thu-Sun)
3)15 days course work (November/December)
The eligibility for Ph.D. Management programme is:-

I also had the same query for one of my niece who was planning to enrol in Ph.D management. On inquiring, I came to now that the university offers
a. Ph.D Management - Part time (NOC required from the Employer)
b. Ph.D Management - Full time
The eligibility is a) Master's degree with 55% aggregate marks in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview;

Yes, you can do Ph.D. You just have to score above 55% marks in your Masters.
