It is indeed very heartening to know that you are interested in doing your Ph.D in public health or epidemiology, which are indeed very good subjects to pursue your research. Firstly, it is best to check with your teachers where you did MPH, as to availability of guide. Once it is confirmed, then you can follow the procedure required like clearing your entrance exam for Ph.D, and then deciding on the subject. Best wishes to you for your success in Ph.D.

Eligibility criteria for most universities for admission to Ph.D programmes through distance education mode is 55 per cent marks in their Master's Degree and some universities also require the candidate to pass NET (National Eligibility Test for Lectureship). But, your admission to a Ph.D programme would depend on the university policies.

Hello,
Students from the European Union starting courses in England in the 2020/21 academic year will continue to be eligible for home fee status. This announcement allows the University of Cambridge to confirm that the fee for postgraduate EU students who will start their studies in 2019 or 2020, will be at the applicable Home/EU rate for the duration of their course.

Hello Amrit, If you are interested in lectureship or research, or want to apply for higher studies, then apply for UGC NET exam. UGC NET exam is held for various 84 subjects in commerce, arts music, language and many more. UGC NET exam is held twice a year in June and December. After qualifying the exam, you can apply for assistant professor post or JRF. The post graduate candidates can apply for the exam. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for UGC NET is post graduation degree. There is no age limit for assistant professor (NET lectureship) while for JRF candidates must be below 30 years old. Almost most of the IITs offer this kind of integrated course. I suggest you to go with IIT-Bombay if you want to pursue that integrated course in Biotechnology.

 Most of the IITs now offer Direct Phd as well as Phd after your masters. For direct Phd: After completing your Bachelors degree in relevant field you are required to appear a National Level Competitive Exam (GATE, JAM, CSIR etc). with 75% marks in bachelors or a CGPA of 7.5 or above. Admission After Master's degree in Engineering/Technology (ME/MS/MTech) with minimum 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 or equivalent. Master's degree in science (MSc) with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 or equivalent with NET (CSIR/UGC) or GATE score.

Hello Garima Unhale. YES, you can do it At Doctoral level, Pacific University offers M.Phil & Ph.D. courses in various streams. Masters degree or any other equivalent degree holders are eligible to apply. The university conducts a separate entrance test followed by an interview to offer admission in these programs. Apart from university-based entrance, candidates with a valid UGC NET/ CSIR NET or GATE score are also eligible to apply.
