For admission in Ph.D, you need to have minimum 55% in Master's degree of the university or an equivalent examination in the subject or any allied subject. Selection is done on the basis of Research Entrance Test.

Yes, a candidate who has secured minimum qualifying marks in Post-Graduation and do not have valid NET score card, can also apply for PhD programme. Such candidates need to appear for the entrance exam organized by the institutes offering PhD programme. After, they have qualified the written examination, they need to appear for GD/PI or other process required for admission in PhD programme and the candidates who have qualified GATE/NET are exempted from written examination.
