Yes, you are eligible but you have to appear in PhD entrance tests like NET/SLET/GATE/CSIR conducted by respective universities and face the interview also.

Real good experience. Much better than NSIT or IIIT-D. Academics is more or less same everywhere. Even students in IIT complain about the lack of efficiency of the faculty and college administration in providing quality education.

Hello Arnab,
Once you have done M.Sc and Ph.D in mathematics, you will be fully knowledgeable and there would be no difference between you and others who may have done this after BA or B.Sc in maths.

Hello, If you aspire to make career through Ph.D. programme. You have a very good option to prepare for the UGC NET Exam. The NET Exam is conducted every year in the month of June and December. There is no age limit to appear in the NET Exam but to get the Stipend of INR 25000 per month you need to qualify the NET JRF Exam. By the help of the UGC Score Card, you can apply in any University and college of India for lectureship and Research programme.

Hello Binu,
Many universities have different min marks in PG for Ph.D. You will have to check with your University another this aspect. If it's 50% then perhaps you can go for it.

Hello Amul, Yes "Nothing is impossible in the world". Doing Ph.D. is definitely not. Okay. Each university conducts it's own exam to judge suitability of a candidate as research scholar or suitability to do Ph.D. Once you pass this, search for guide in your selected subject from the list of guides available with university. Then after guide accepts you, decide your research topic, register with university and process has begun.

Yes, definitely, you can go to the ISRO and NASA. In ISRO, if you are a Ph.D candidate, they offer a job without interview also.
