You should apply online. They even offer scholarships for Indian students but not always. You need to complete IELTS test for which you need to spend 10000-12000 INR. Now you can apply for universities like Harvard and Birmingham and all. If you apply now, for June 2018 admission, it's better. All the best.

If you want to switch your field than it is a good option. Doing MBA will open a number of doors for you in the corporate world. If you want to explore new job profiles than go for an MBA.

Eligibility for Ph.D in Nuclear Physics is as follows:
1) M.Phil degree and PG degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a university or from a recognized institution of higher training.
2) 5-years of work experience at a senior level in teaching/professional experience.

It will be better to choose M.Tech rather than MBA because here you can choose your corresponding branch in PhD. Whereas if you go for MBA you have to focus on different fields, i.e. management as well but if you want a job then you can go through MBA.

Hi,
PhD admissions require that you be accepted by a research supervisor first. You have to proactively search universities offering research work in your discipline and check the PhD notifications, rules and regulations. Subsequently you have to contact the specific research supervisors and share your research interests and proposals with them. Please take a look at university websites for better details and procedures.
