No, IISER Pune do not allow the direct admission into their MSc (Physics Honours) or MSc in Integrated PhD programgs without appearing for any of the entreance exam. The seats in colleges like this are primarily filled through the entrance examamination scores, so you needs to write any of the following exam to get into IISER Pune for MSc (Physics Honours) or M.Sc with integrated PhD programs. Yes, PhD in English programme available at Indira Gandhi National Open University, also known as IGNOU. It is a public distance learning university located in New Delhi, India. For admission to the PhD  in English program, the University conducts an entrance exam which is organised by NTA. But IGNOU Admission to the Doctor of Philosophy ( PhD ) in English is completed for the year 2024 by june 31st. So, you have to wait for a year if you want to pursue PhD in English at IGNOU.

By doing MA in economics you have developed a very good analytical skills and strong Foundation by learning theoretical as well as practical skills that will help you in solving real life problems. Economic and Management are two different things. You can definitely do PhD in management, specially in the areas like Business economics,   managerial economics, organisational behaviour, strategic management and financial management . You have to put some extra efforts because management and economics are two different fields. If you are ready to put that efforts then PhD management is for you .Go ahead and all the best.
