Dear Roystone Smith,
Normally in India, professional programmes are offered through UGC and AICTE. Eminent institutes are working under vocational programme. It is your discretion to do it or not. As per UGC and AICTE norms, it is not authorised.

Dear Archana Kishore,
No, you are not eligible to do Ph.D. Symbiosis only provides PG Diploma as per UGC norms if you want to do Ph.D, you should have a Master's degree like MBA, etc., but there is an option equivalent to Ph.D, with PGDM eligibility, you can join FPM. Fellowship programme in Management by IIMs and other business schools. Therefore, prefer IIMs to do your FPM programme.
All the best.

You need to complete Master's in order to pursue Ph.D. If you are very much interested in the subject and want deep knowledge and looking for some research based work then Ph.D is a good option. Mainly, teaching and research work profiles are suited after Ph.D.

For Ph.D, you need to complete your Master's or equivalent degree course and few universities do require NET score too. Keep a check on institutes like XLRI, IITs and other management institutes.
