Several colleges in Kerala and Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu offer Computer Science programs at the level of Ph.D. There are various institutions offering computer Science at the level of PhD, such as in the Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation and Technology, CUSAT; Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in Coimbatore Tamil Nadu and PSG Tech which allows one to conduct his PhD. June 20, 2024 is the last date for submitting applications for the PhD programme at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). CUSAT admission is based on qualifying entrance exam. Currently, the admission can be done for the Ph.D. in Management in NIT Calicut based on the candidates GATE/NET score and interview. Usually the general qualifying criteria are a Master's degree in Management, Engineering or a similar field with not less than 60% weight average ( 55 % for SC/ST). But the cutoff marks may differ depending on the number of candidates and the given research fields. So as to know the most accurate cutoff it is advisable to access the NIT Calicut website or better still get a hold of the institute.
