For the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Differently abled and those who have qualified for the Master’s degree before 19th September 1991 the minimum eligibility marks shall be 50% in their Master’s degree

An Entrance Test consists of both a written test and an oral interview. The written test will be conducted for 40 marks and an oral interview for 10 marks at Periyar University. Candidates securing 50% aggregate altogether shall be declared eligible for admission. Those candidates who scored at least 15 marks on the written test will be called for an oral interview.
