A graduate with an M.Sc. Employers are primarily seeking individuals with a strong background in molecular biology and advanced computational skills. Graduates in Industrial chemistry field may get opportunities in the areas of agrochemical industries, metallurgical industries, petrochemicals industries, pharmaceuticals, plastic industries, polymer industries, etc. Some of the graduates may work in non-scientific areas like government, utilities and research, drink industry, health and medical organizations, and scientific research agencies and organizations.

A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for the course on provisional basis.
