You need to have a degree in B. Pharmacy in order to open a chemist shop. I have a friend who did B. Pharmacy from LPU and own a medical shop. Yes you can do the B.Pharma course after 12th with PCMC. The eligibility criteria of B.Pharma of LPU and Chandigarh Universities are given below. LPU Eligibility : 10+2 with minimum 60% of marks with English Physics Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as a compulsory subject in the qualifying examination. Chandigarh University Eligibility : 10+2 examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate with English Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects:- Biology / Mathematics.

To take admission in NIPER MBA Pharma, you need BPharm/ BTech (Chemical Engineering or equivalent)/ MSc (Chemical/ Life Sciences) with minimum 60% aggregate or 6.75 CGPA as equivalent and score of NIPER JEE/ GPAT/GATE/NET score.
NIPER JEE MBA is most commonly used to short candidate for MBA in NIPER institutes across the country through a centralized counselling.
I think NIPER dont accept CAT score for MBA pharma.
NIPER JEE score is accepted for MBA pharma and it is generally high .
