 B.Pharmacy is an undergraduate four years course (approved by PCI) which is a pre-requisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist. It imparts skills to work in industry, clinical set ups, drug control organizations, education and research sectors in pharmaceutical.For taking admission in B.Pharma you need to fulfill the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) as explained below.Pass with 90% aggregate marks in 10+2  (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Maths) or equivalent.orPass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2  (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Maths) or equivalent, subject to qualifying lpunest.For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)

Pharmacognosy involves identifying, isolating, characterizing, and understanding the properties of bioactive compounds derived from natural sources.Pharmacy is a broader field that involves the study of drug formulation, preparation, dispensing, and utilization for therapeutic purposes. Pharmacognosy includes various aspects such as Pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacy practice.
