Unfortunately no, there are no provisions for pharmacists to open their own clinic. The India Pharmacy Council expressly says that pharmacists cannot open their own clinics. open a chemist shop and dispense medicine. However, you cannot start a clinic because the clinic is opened by a doctor with an MBBS degree.Without an MBBS graduate degree, no one can operate a clinic or even prescribe medicine to patients. Getting into an MBBS programme is far more difficult than getting into a B Pharm programme. Both are good, depending on how much effort candidates are willing to put in. To get a DPharma seat at Kalinga University you need to pass the Eligibility Test which is generally 50% in your Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics) after passing out from 10+2. The admission process generally consists of an application form on the university website, uploading necessary documents and payment for that particular course. While for some programs you might have to sit in an entrance test and personal interview.
