The minimum score needed in Class 12 to be admitted to Assam University BPharm programmes is 50% in their higher senior secondary, especially in the relevant Science subjects. However, the number of applicants and the number of seats available in the course will determine the merit list/ cut-off list that the colleges release. So, to improve the chances of getting selected for the course, candidates must score a valid score in Class 12 and the entrance examination.

Both Assam University and Assam Downtown University are good choices for BSc programmes. Assam University is more affordable than Assam Downtown University, but when comparing the average packages offered to BPharm graduates, the average package offered by Assam University is INR 3.7 LPA, and the average package offered by Assam Downtown University's BPharm programme is INR 5 LPA.In conclusion, it is challenging to determine which is best because, for some students, the placement packages may be the most important factor, while for others, affordability may be the most important consideration.

Assam University follows seat reservations for BPharm courses becuase the university is a public university, so it follows reservations as per the rules sanctioned by the government of India. The reservations are available for different categories, such as caste, economic status, housing, disability, etc. 15% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC).
