The cutoff for admission to the M.Pharma programme at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DYPIPSR) has not been released yet for the 2024 academic year. Admission to the M.Pharma programme at DYPIPSR is based on the GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) score. Candidates must qualify the GPAT exam to be eligible for admission.

Many companies recruit MGU graduates through the placements drive. Candidates with BPharm degrees can find jobs in public and private hospitals, clinics, and medical supply stores. The degree holders can also opt for a variety of postgraduate programmes. Students interested in further studies can opt for a PG Diploma in Pharmacy, an MBA in Pharmaceutical Administration, an M Pharma, a Doctor of Pharmacy (D Pharma), and other degrees.

The university has a total seat intake of 60 for the BPharm programme. Students are admitted based on merit in the last qualifying exam or KEAM scores. The university may reserve seats for candidates belonging to certain categories. It may follow a seat reservation policy prescribed by the state or central government. Candidates seeking admission, who have passed Class 12 or equivalent can proceed with the application formalities. The applications are shortlisted based on scores in the last qualifying examination or KEAM exam for selection. MGU may release a merit/selection list to declare the names of the students eligible for admission. After the final selection, the students can get their documents verified and pay the admission fee. Following the fee payment, enrolment gets confirmed.
