Hi Hari,
Please confirm the institute you wish to apply for better understanding. Generally, there are no such criteria for admission in Diploma courses in photography school. Thanks.

You can become an amateur wildlife photographer by clicking pictures of wild animals by yourself. You don't need to attend a college course/degree for that. You can click pictures and try to sell them to newspapers, magazines, websites. But let me tell you being a professional wildlife photographer is not that easy, getting paid by clicking and selling pictures of wild animals will not allow you to earn enough money. That's sad but it is the truth. I'd highly recommended that you should pursue some another course which interests you and keep wildlife photography as a hobby.

Hi, You don't need to go to a college to become a wildlife photographer. You can achieve your certificate by doing a 6-12 months course through various photography institutes like Delhi College Of Photography which will provide you right information to shoot pictures of wildlife. Wildlife photography is a really interesting hobby and not a lot of people are able to convert it into an earning source.

Join an institute if you want to, but if you don't want to join an institute then you can practice by clicking pictures yourself, work on your skills.
If you join an institute, there will be a few advantages such as proper knowledge will be imparted in you to excel.

Hello Dev,
To become a photographer, it is not mandatory that you should study journalism and mass communication. You can study any of the degrees and go for a PG Diploma in photography which are being offered by many good institutes in India. You can choose any of the courses and then do a Diploma in photography and start your career as a professional wildlife photographer.
