It depends on the place where you live. You can get a job between Rs.20K to Rs.25K monthly. If you're out of the box, then you have everything in your hand with the power of your skill and work board.

It depends on you that what kind of photography, in which you are interested. There are many types of photography like wedding, wildlife, fashion, journalism, forensic, portrait, fine arts, freelancing, etc.
There are 3 types of course:
1) Certificate
2) Diploma and
3) Degree.
Below mentioned are the top 5 colleges:
1. LLA in Ooty.
2. Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia - New Delhi.
3. Osmania University – Hyderabad.
4. AAFT – Noida.
5. A.J Kidwai Mass Communication Research Center - Delhi.

1) Go for pro photography courses at various renowned colleges/institutes.
2) Follow universities providing mass media courses in photography.
3) Follow internet and do good amount of research for photography courses.
4) Most stable jobs in photography courses as per my knowledge is journalist photography, crime photography and celebrity photography.
I don't know many colleges but some renowned ones are Annapurna, Whistling woods, T-series, Daboo Ratnani Institute and ICAT etc.

Yes, you can make your career in photography. There are many institutes in India for photography, like Ferguson College, Pune, Film Institute Pune, etc.

Photography is an art and there is no time bound for this. If you feel you are good at photography, then start it without delaying as there is high demand for photographers in the market. Tremendous job opportunity have been seen in the last 5 years. E-commerce and apparel industries are working as a boon for professional photographers. So, if you think you are ready, then go ahead.
